As a massage therapist, my deep commitment is to work consciously and intuitively with my clients to promote health and well-being. I tailor my massage work to each individual’s needs often working out sore, tired hands and forearms, tight shoulders and necks, jaws, and facial muscles.
Certified in Myo Fascial Release and Neuromuscular Therapy, these serve as a foundational guide to my deep and specific massage work. I help to facilitate relief from pain and tension, and work with my clients to encourage healing from trauma and injury. My clients have experienced healing from both physical and emotional injuries through our work together.
My hands are strong, and I use them to find trigger point releases, assessing each client’s body for imbalances. I work deeply to release sore points and congestion. Using modulating pressure, I also work to rebalance muscles and fascia (connective tissue).
During a session, I encourage clients to use their breath to sync with their minds and bodies. That said, sessions may be challenging. Clients benefit most when they are pushed outside of their comfort zones onto a path towards longer, lasting relief.
Massage is not a job for me. It is a calling. This is deeply spiritual work, and I love how it has the power to transform lives. I allow my intuition to lead me to where each client most needs work. This is a journey; one I’m delighted to share.
In 2014, I graduated from the Ann Arbor Institute of Massage Therapy. Before that, I received a BA in Studio Art from Beloit College. Some fun things about me include:
